2 lbs winter melon (Dong Gua), 3 pieces garlic, 2 oz pork, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 2 teaspoon oil.

Cut the pork into pieces with 1 inch width square thin. Cut the skin off the winter melon, and cut them into like ice cubes.

Preheat the wok about 1 minute with high.

Add two teaspoons of oil into the hot wok, and add the garlic into the wok, cook the garlic about 1 minute.

Add the pork into the wok, and stir it, and cook about 2 minutes

Add the winter melon the wok and stir them, mixing up with the meat and garlic. Keep cooking for about 1 minute.

Add 8 oz of cold water into wok. Then cover the wok up and put the heat on high until the water is boiled.

Turn the heat to medium for 15 minutes. Then add a little bit of salt into it and stir them a little bit. It is ready to be served.
